Hi my
name is Jessie Kandola and I am the creator and author of Marketattraction.com.
If you are anything like me, the reason why I created this website is because I
wanted to network with people wanted to make money at the same time. I wanted
to help people, and ultimately I wanted to be my own Boss. I did not like
working for someone else because I hated the idea of putting so much effort
into someone else’s business when I could be putting it in my own!
That’s why I started marketing online and, and started networking online on MySpace,
Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Ustream because I want to meet new people, network,
and give back to other entrepreneurs who are in the same boat as I was, stressed
out and feeling hopeless. Hopefully my story can help you discover a better
alternative just like I did when I started working at home, being my own boss
and making money online. Before I get into that let me just tell you a little
bit about myself.
Well I am from Vancouver, BC Canada. I graduated from Simon
Fraser University. I finally have my degree in Business Administration
concentration Marketing and Management of Technology. I have graduated from
university and it was a huge milestone in my life. (If you ask me, Jessie K
BBA, sounds funny).
Let me
tell you a personal side of me. I grew up here in Vancouver and love my family.
I had three older brothers and unfortunately one of them passed away. I can
honestly say without a doubt that was the worst day of my life. Spending 20
years with someone who is so close to you seeing him every single day and then
suddenly he is just gone. I can’t express the hurt that I had that day and had
to live with my many, many years. I still to this day cry, just thinking about
him and all of the fun times we used to have. He was a paraplegic and so he was unable to do a lot of things other
people could, but he had alot of life in him and he was very smart. He went to
college, completed a certificate program and tried to do things in life.
Unfortunately no company wanted to accommodated to his needs therefore leaving
him in the state he was in. He was not happy and eventually his body failed
him. If you want to know more about this story I would be happy to share it
just ask me.
I love doing things that help me improve myself, either it be
going to the gym, or reading self help books. I really enjoyed Russell
Simmons’-“Do You”, Napoleon Hill’s -“Think and Grow Rich”, and the movie “The
Secret”, I have actually read several books that I cant even name all of them
and am constantly reading although I do take breaks just to get out of the
reading world!
I also like being at home, relaxing and spending time with my
family and friends. When I graded University I didn’t have much money, in fact
in order to pay for my schooling I had to take out a student loan. Now if you
ever were a student you would know that education is not cheap. My tuition +
books + living costs add up to more than $5000 a semester. I have over $30,000
in debt! Talk about being broke and in debt! I would have more but I worked for
a little bit to pay for school.
Now in
terms of my jobs I have had quite a few in my time: working at our local fair
in the summers , being a manager in a local food place , sales rep in at Cell
phone company, and operator for a local phone company. At all my jobs I had
great experiences. I got to meet and interact with all sorts of people. But
they never left me satisfied to the point where I felt like I was in control of
my life, my destiny. I have always wanted to be in control as to where I wanted
to go but I never really had a clear vision as too where I was headed.
I started off in a fast food place doing cashier work, making
burgers, and cleaning; after three years of that I got promoted into a manager.
When I got a job in sales I left. I worked as a sales rep selling cell phones.
You ever had that cell phone guy that used to try and sell you on family plans,
or bundles or accessories, well that was me. It was a very annoying job.
I later worked for a few marketing firms selling internet, and
cameras, but I had enough of sales at this point, even though I was fairly good
at it. I developed a dislike in manipulating people to buy phones because I had
a certain quota to meet every day and the pressure was not for me. I then got a
job in a call center as an operator, I will tell you that I have never had a
job that gave me so much stress in my life, and above all, the other operators
were much older than me and they had been there for minimum 25 years so it was
hard to relate to them.
I was hired as a relief operator during the summer so that the
others could go on vacation, but then I decided to stay because they said that
they would accommodate me for my school schedule. If working Fridays at
8pm-12am, Saturdays 730am-3pm, and Sundays 4pm-11pm is not very accommodating
for a student.
I was able to work these shifts because I never had school
during that time, but let me tell you it is very, very hard for a student to
juggle a full course load with a job which requires you to work at odd times
during the day. Here is the kicker, my office soon turned 24/7/365, and I had
to work ridiculous hours because of the high turnover rate. People were leaving
this job very quickly.
I was obligated to work an extra day, I had to work Friday,
Saturday, Sunday 6pm-2am and Thursday 8pm-3am, this is not part time for a
student and is not good when you have class on Mondays at 8:30am and
Thursdays at 6:30-9:30pm. Also on top of all that temporary employees are “on
call” so I had to check my voicemail at least 5 times a day to make sure that I
was not called in and if I was I was obligated to go in.
Because of all this happening I had to come in after class and
try to find someone to take my shift, and even had to miss class because of
work, it came to the point where the stress became normal, and normal was
stress.
Now let me tell you about the job itself. It basically consisted
of people calling in and just yelling at me. They expected me to know anything,
and everything.
They expect that you have notes on every call
they made, they assume you are their credit card company, phone Company, Gas
Company, and they yell at you because they think you are the telemarketer that
is bothering them at 6am on a Sunday calling to see if they need long distance.
You name it I have heard it all. Or if there is ever a problem with their phone
they expect you to fix it, and immediately.
All I had the authority to do was transfer calls. You know that
picture in your head of that lady pulling the cables out of one plug to plug
into the other, that was pretty much all I could do in a sense and yet I had to
hear customers swearing at me, saying all sorts of comments and I had to take
it all.
The worst part of it all was that I was not allowed to hang up.
I had to transfer them to my ‘help desk’ after hearing the worst profanity you
can think of. It was a strict policy. So as you can imagine, I had no time for
FUN, because this job was demanding and I had school on top of that.
My girlfriend was not very pleased by maybe seeing me once every 2-3 weeks. I
hardly saw my friends, and when I came home I would be either studying or just
wanting to sleep. I was constantly in a bad mood, and was not able to exercise
because of no time. I was working at this dead-end job feeling depressed
thinking why I am here, someone please me find a way out! I was not put on this
earth for this. I was tired of working as an operator, and thought the next job
I get will be that of a professional after I graduate with my degree or start
my own business. Well I decided to start my own business.
I thought of so many ways, maybe starting a bar with my brother
(I don’t have the money, neither does he, it would be impossible to get a loan
for a few hundred thousand), buy t-shirts at cheap and sell them a higher cost
(not enough money to get a print design and not enough time to sell them)
Online business? (Hmmm that is affordable, and does require the amount of time
and money as starting a brick and mortar business like the bar).
So I started searching online and all of that changed when I
found Carbon Copy Pro. This was business that just blew me away. I was very
scared though in the beginning, in fact I was so scared that I did not join the
business until 5 months after.
I saw the site was interested and then did my research, and then delayed
because
1) I had little money.
2) How do I know this is not
a some sort of scam, for all I know it could be one of those pyramid scams, but
once my body got to the point of “do something now or you will suffer” I joined
immediately, and my thoughts could not have been further from the truth.
Believe me, being a business student in this day of age, I DID MY RESEARCH.
3) Also being a business
student I can tell you that I did not learn how to market online at all, in
fact the methods that are taught through Carbon Copy Pro are quite refreshing
and I embraced all of the learning material that are available.
Because of this system I no longer work at that horrible job, I
finally get to see my girlfriend regularly (finally got to go to go on a trip
few days) I would have never been able to do that with my job, EVER. I see my
family and actually go see movies with my mom (how many people do that? I don’t
know anyone that does that).
The strategies that I have learned are great, and I keep on
learning new material to market my business. Although I keep in touch with the
latest technology, and buzz on the internet. Carbon Copy Pro seems to have
everything before anyone else which give me the competitive edge I know a lot
strategies to name a few web 2.0 marketing, Pay per click, press release,
blogging, video marketing, and more.
I actually attract people to me, unlike a lot marketer’s out
there who are constantly chasing people and try recruiting them to their
business which does not work trust me I know.
I have
met several people whom are considered to be gurus and all the pictures are on
my facebook page which you can take a look at www.facebook.com/jessiekandola...
To name a few (Yanik Silver, Eben Pagen, Gary Vaynurchuk, Greg Clement, Bedros
Kullion, Brian Tracy, James Malinchak, Bill Glazer, Vishen Lakhiani, David
Schwind, Jay Kubasek, DK, Jeff Johnson, Mike Filsaine, and more.
The best part about the business is that I no longer work as an operator, and
market online instead of a job. I work wherever I want because of portability
of my laptop. So I know I actually get to RELAX!!!!
So that’s why I created this website. This really changed my
life and I would love to network and work with likeminded people and really
spread the word about this. I would love to hear your story and we can chat
about mine if you’re interested. I love what I do because I enjoy it and can do
this 24 hours a day if I had to because it’s so interesting. I would have to
say my specialty is SEO and being able to getting ranked FAST. Let me show you
how
On my site, you can watch a free video of my mentor and sponsor
who made over 6 figures in just 6 months. I interview her asking her how she
did it, because I wanted to know and made a video for you to see.
If you are interested in enhancing your quality of life and
really want to change all the stress, and negativity in your life, and want to
actually have a life please check out my site Market Attraction.
BUT, if you are just looking to keep on browsing and not change,
then this is not for you, because I only want to help people that actually want
to change their life.
